One of the statements I found interesting was that he would be suspicious of any tabulated vote that was in large disagreement with the exit polling data.

as a programmer myself (the developer of this web site actually) i can definitely believe this testimony. not saying it's the truth of course, but it's very plausible... esp from what i know about these systems and having looked into this topic previously. if anyone wants to know more, i highly recommend watching the documentary "votergate" which u should be able to find in goole. and if u want to go back to studying the 2000 elections a little bit as well, check out "unprecedented"..
